About the Event

17 days of the very best live, unforgettable contemporary music starting from November 24.

In 2022, Always Live emerged as a major event in the Victorian music scene.  And 2023 will not be any different!

Amplifying the ever growing and rich pool of local Aussie talent as well internationally acclaimed artists, the festival’s program encompasses performances of diverse scales, musical backgrounds and styles. The shows are carefully crafted and thoughtfully curated to grace some of the best Melbourne’s and Victoria’s iconic venues, from large stadium level to the smaller and intimate. Keep an eye out for pop up performances as well as free family events and artist showcases.

More than 150 artists performing in over 60 events state wide.

Make sure you catch some of the finest talents Australia has to offer along with global superstars artists in your neighbourhood this November and December.

Always Live 2023 Line Up

One of the biggest headliners of the festival in 2023 will be Christina Aguilera. She will be performing a single show at the Flemington Racecourse on November 25. It is the first time Aguilera will perform a show in Australia since 2007.

Another international superstar to perform at Always Live 2023 will be Swedish DJ Eric Prydz. Jai Paul will also star in a few Victoria only shows at 170 Russell.

Some of the other headliners in 2023 include Jessie Ware, The Cat Empire, The Veronicas, Caroline Polacheck, Amyl and the Sniffers, Clare Bowfitch, Peter Garrett, Tones and I, A.B Original, KAIIT, The Temper Trap, Lee Fields & The Expressions, Sophia J Smith, Kee’ahn, Blanco Tranco, Pirritu, Alex Lahey, DefStar, Emma Donovan among many more.
